Last updated: August 2026
This page explains what personal data Happiness Harbor collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It applies to happinessharbor.io and all its pages, including the resources, articles, and mentoring sections.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Roberto La Rosa, operating as Happiness Harbor, based in Milan, Italy. For any question about your data, write to robertolarosa@icloud.com.
What data is collected
Happiness Harbor collects personal data only when you choose to give it, through a form on this site. Depending on which form you use, this may include:
- Your email address
- Your name, if the form asks for it
- The date and time you submitted the form, kept as a record of consent
This site does not use advertising or profiling cookies. The only technical element involved is the connection needed to submit a form and deliver it to the email platform described below.
Why your data is collected
| Form | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Whitepaper download | Deliver the whitepaper and related follow-up content | Consent |
| Book chapter download | Deliver the chapter and related follow-up content | Consent |
| Manager's Guide download | Deliver the guide and occasional emails about mentoring for managers | Consent |
In every case, your data is used only for the purpose you signed up for. Newsletters or follow-up emails are sent only if you actively opted in to them, never automatically.
Where your data is stored
Email addresses and related data are stored and processed through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), an email service provider based in France, within the European Union. Brevo acts as data processor on behalf of Happiness Harbor and maintains its own data protection safeguards, including a Data Processing Agreement, which you can read on Brevo's own privacy policy. No data collected through this site is transferred outside the European Union.
How long your data is kept
Your data is kept for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask for your data to be deleted, it is removed from active mailing lists promptly, and fully erased from Brevo's systems within the timeframe described in Brevo's own data retention policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access the data held about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time, with no effect on processing carried out before withdrawal
- Object to how your data is used
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, write to robertolarosa@icloud.com, or use the unsubscribe link included in every email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
A note on the mentoring content
The mentoring and coaching content on this site is professional development support for managers and leaders. It is not psychological therapy, psychotherapy, or clinical psychological treatment, and no health-related data is collected or inferred through these forms.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site and its services evolve. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
